The KMW-820 ammonia nitrogen water quality analyzer is a new generation water quality analyzer product independently developed by Kaiming Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. It has the characteristics of platformization, miniaturization, modularity, and intelligence. The instrument adopts the national standard HJ 535-2009 "Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Water Quality: Nessler's Reagent spectrophotometric method" as the detection principle, which can quickly and accurately measure the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in water quality.

After pre-treatment of the water sample, the ammonia nitrogen in the water sample is mixed with Nessler's reagent. The free ammonia or ammonium ions in the form of ammonia nitrogen react with Nessler's reagent to form a light reddish brown complex. The degree of color change is proportional to the content of ammonia nitrogen in the water. The analyzer detects this color change and converts it into the value of ammonia nitrogen output.
