The KMW-810 CODcr water quality analyzer is a new generation water quality analyzer product independently developed by Kaiming Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. It has the characteristics of platformization, miniaturization, modularity, and intelligence. The instrument adopts the national standard HJ 828-2017 "Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand in Water Quality: Potassium dichromate spectrophotometric method" as the detection principle, and can quickly and accurately measure the concentration value of CODcr in water quality.

Measuring principle

The tested water sample undergoes pretreatment, and the water sample, potassium dichromate, and sulfuric acid silver sulfate mixed solution (silver sulfate as a catalyst can more effectively oxidize linear fatty compounds) are digested at high temperature to convert hexavalent chromium into green trivalent chromium. The degree of color change is proportional to the content of reducing substances in the water sample. The analyzer detects this color change and converts it into CODcr value output.
