KMW-811 COD Mn Water Quality Automatic Analyzer

The KMW-811 permanganate index water quality analyzer is a new generation water quality analyzer product independently developed by Kaiming Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. It has the characteristics of platformization, miniaturization, modularity, and intelligence. The instrument adopts the national standard GB11892-89 "Determination of Permanganate Index in Water Quality" as the detection principle, and can quickly and accurately measure the concentration value of COD Mn in water quality.

Measuring principle

The water sample to be tested is pre treated and subjected to high-temperature and high-pressure digestion in an acidic environment of potassium permanganate. The reducing substances in the water will consume the potassium permanganate content, and the degree of color change is proportional to the content of reducing substances in the water sample. The analyzer detects this color change and converts it into a COD Mn value output.
