The KMW-664 total nickel water quality analyzer is a new generation water quality analyzer product independently developed by Kaiming Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. It has the characteristics of platformization, miniaturization, modularity, and intelligence. The instrument adopts the national standard GB 11910-1989 "Determination of Nickel in Water Quality - Dimethylglyoxime spectrophotometric method" as the detection principle, which can quickly and accurately measure the concentration of total nickel in water quality.

In the presence of iodine in an ammonia solution, the tested water sample reacts with nickel and dimethylglyoxime to form a wine red complex with a composition ratio of 1:4. The degree of color change is proportional to the nickel content in the water sample. The analyzer detects this color change and converts it into a nickel value output.
