The KMW-620 total manganese water quality analyzer is a new generation water quality analyzer product independently developed by Kaiming Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. It has the characteristics of platformization, miniaturization, modularity, and intelligence. The instrument adopts the national standard HJ/T 344-2007 "Determination of Manganese in Water Quality: Formaldehyde Oxime spectrophotometric method" as the detection principle, which can quickly and accurately measure the concentration of total manganese in water quality.

Formaldehyde oxime is a compound formed by the reaction of aldehydes and ketones containing carbonyl groups with hydroxylamine. This compound can form a brownish red color with manganese in the tested water sample in alkaline solution. The degree of color change is proportional to the content of manganese ions in the water sample. The analyzer detects this color change and converts it into the value of total manganese output.
